The rant of my state of mind at the published date.

I think that the 7-Up company makes the bottles green to try and enhance the full lemon-lime flavor mentally. Speaking of taste, I think a dog must be completely bored with his tongue. Here’s an interesting circumstance for you to ponder: Imagine you’re in some sort of institution. You don’t choose what you eat, and after a while, everything starts to taste the same. A slab of meat. A stick of celery. A pocket of potatoes. Everything you eat is of poor quality and taste. Sure, you get used to it. But why? Why do you get used to it? Because you basically have to. You have no choice. You have no rights. To explain a little bit more about that, if you get used to it, it doesn’t seem so bad after a while. Which is exactly the syndrome our country is in. We are just too acceptive of everything because we’re used to it.

“Work for pay, and pay for freedom. Fuck ’em all, we don’t need ’em.” – Acid Bath, from “The Bones of Baby Dolls”

In a way, this is similar to everyday life. Get up, do your daily shtick, and sleep. Every fucking day. The society we live in restricts us. Freedom really is a hollow promise. Call me lazy (I admit I am), but what is the big deal with work? The quote above is basically explaining the current state of slavery we live in. Taxes are a form of slavery. Don’t pay them, and you’ll be jailed. The price of gas is slavery. I’ll admit, it is a great deal more comfortable than the old-school cotton-field slavery, but it’s necessary. Government is necessary. Anarchists are completely and utterly fucking dreaming. I mean real Anarchists. Not the kids who spray paint skate parks or buildings. Essentially, the United States of America’s idea of Freedom is restrictive. If we were truly free, gay marriage wouldn’t even be a topic of legalization. It would be legal everywhere for everyone, man and woman. Our country was founded by people who were being treated unfairly (in their opinion). What if a militia of homosexuals stormed the Capitol? Back to the topic at hand, it’s a person’s decision. I really flat-lined as far as this topic, but that’s all I have to say about that.

Back to our country’s founders for a moment. They were just a bunch of regular Joes (you and I) who stood up, fought their keepers, and brought forth a revolution. There’s no way those same guys could pull that shit off in 2008. They’d be fucked in more ways than Jenna Jameson could keep count of.

In a nutshell, this rant means:

Oh, and don’t even get me started on the fucking draft.
